Artist and Teacher: Amber Carroll

Amber will be teaching a fun, free, art class for the holiday season
on Saturday, December 13, 2025. There will be classes structured for students aged 7-13 and one class for students aged 14-18.

There will be three offerings of this class: 11am, 1pm, and 4pm.
(LIMITED AVAILABILITY. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.)

What will students learn:

Students will learn how to use the basic shapes of drawing to create holiday inspired drawings of Christmas trees and ornaments using colored pencils.

Their art project can be taken home to finish and display!

Amber Carroll’s Artist Statement

Hello, my name is Amber Carroll. I am a Visual Artist and Art Educator located here in Bolingbrook. I received a Bachelor's in Art Education from Illinois State University and a Masters in Art Education from Eastern Illinois University. For the past 10 years I've worked full time as an Art Teacher and currently am a full time art educator at a high school in Chicago. In addition to experience teaching, I create my own artwork that primarily consist of mixed media paintings.
