Kera is a contemporary artist , born and raised in Elmhurst. You can check out her work on instagram at @keraboutart
She is currently making a lot of folk art paintings inspired by Norwegian rosemaling. Rosemaling is a folk art tradition of decorative floral painting that originated in rural areas in the mid-1700s, characterized by ornate, flowing scrollwork, flowers, and other plant forms. This colorful art was often used to decorate wooden objects like chests, plates, and boxes. Her prints are available for sale at www.keraboutart.com
